golfThe South Australian Development Assessment Commission is make a decision on assessment guidelines for a proposed 36-hole international standard golf course at Nora Creina, south of Robe.

Planning Minister John Rau gave the proposal major project status earlier this year.

It includes two golf courses, a clubhouse, accommodation, a vineyard and an abalone and Wagyu beef farm, as well as a restaurant, retail outlets and recreational facilities for fishing, diving and nature walks.

The 242 hectare site has about three kilometres of coastline and requires clearing of some native vegetation.

Once the commission sets the assessment guidelines, the developer is required to demonstrate how they will be met and public consultation will start.
