27/02/2013 7:45 am

Woollahra Council is proposing changes to provide certainty on how building height is measured in Woollahra. These proposed changes are on public exhibition for comment from 27 February 2013 to 15 March 2013.

The planning proposal applies to all land within the Woollahra Local Government Area. To provide certainty on how buildings height is measured, this planning proposal aims to amend the definitions of ‘height’ and ‘existing ground level’ in WLEP 1995. It is proposed that these two terms are defined in accordance with the definitions in the Standard Instrument – Principal Local Environmental Plan.

The Minister for Planning and Infrastructure has classified the planning proposal as ‘low impact’ and has delegated the making of the LEP to Council.

Details are set out in the planning proposal and supporting material provided below.
