The City Planning Commission's meeting on the Millennium Hollywood development has ended and the twin tower plan being passed unanimously (and appeals were denied) according to Curbed. The controversial plan proposes two tall towers on parking lots surrounding the famous Capitol Records Building. The developers Millennium Partners and Argent Ventures have only released "conceptual" plans that propose towers of 585 and 485 feet, comprising up to 492 apartments, 200 hotel rooms, office, space, restaurants, a sports club, retail and 2,000 parking spaces.

The "conceptual" nature of the proposal means that the developers are asking for approval to build up to those heights. It is not clear what will actually be built. The developer now heads to the City Council for approval.
