Canada Bay Development Control Plan Amendments

The City Of Canada Bay Development Control Plan has been amended to include new planning controls for:

  • Bibby Street Industrial precinct, Chiswick;
  • Western side of Victoria Road (between Church and Day Street), Drummoyne;
  • 186 Great North Road, Five Dock, known as the former Five Dock RSL Bowling Club site. 
At the end of last year Council resolved to:
  • Rezone Bibby Street industrial area to medium density residential and increase heights of buildings and floor space ratios.
  • Increase the height of buildings between Church and Day Streets on Victoria Road, Drummoyne.
  • Rezone 186 Great North Road, Five Dock from Private Recreation to Medium Density Residential and increase building heights and floor space ratios.
The draft Plan will be on public exhibition from Thursday, 21 February 2013 to Friday, 22 March 2013.
