The Brief: This huge modernist residence in Vaucluse has had just two owners since it was constructed by Gordon Barton in the 70s, the late entrepreneur created Interstate Parcel Express Company (IPEC). The property last exchanged hands in 1993 for $4.75 million, the home stands on an enormous 2311 square metre block fronting Vaucluse Bay. The Agent from Sotheby’s Michael Pallier has told SMH that he has already received “good positive enquiries from qualified buyers”, despite the fact that the marketing campaign hasn’t begun yet.
